What a wonderful world – Louis Armstrong (1967)

1) I see trees of green,
red roses too.
I see them bloom,
for me and you.
And I think to myself:
“What a wonderful world!”

2) I see skies of blue,
and clouds of white.
The bright blessed day,
the dark sacred night.
And I think to myself:
“What a wonderful world!”

3) The colors of the rainbow
– so pretty in the sky-
are also on the faces
of people going by.
I see friends shaking hands
saying: “How do you do,”
They’re really saying:
“I love you”.

4) I hear babies cry,
I watch them grow.
They’ll learn much more,
than I’ll never know.
And I think to myself:
“What a wonderful world!”
Yes I think to myself:
“What a wonderful world!”
